(604) 879-8111 FREE ADMISSION Four touring writers stop in Vancouver, Wed. July 10, 9pm, for a special performance/reading event at The Montmarte Cafe, Main St. Vancouver poet/performer Ralph Alfonso will MC the evening, which is in lieu of his usual Wednesday Cabaret Contraire. Clive Holden is a poet, publisher and filmmaker living in Winnipeg. His poetry CD, TRAINS OF WINNIPEG, is currently available from Cyclops Press. The TRAINS OF WINNIPEG book is forthcoming in September 2002 from DC Books, Montreal. Robert Allen's latest collection of poems is RICKY RICARDO SUITES, DC Books, Montreal. He is a poet and novelist, living in Montreal where he teaches Creative Writing at Concordia University. Jon Paul Fiorentino is a Winnipeg poet living in Montreal. His latest collection of poetry is TRANSCONA FRAGMENTS, Cyclops Press, Winnipeg. His next book, RESUME DROWNING, is forthcoming in September 2002 with Broken Jaw Press, Fredericton. Anne Stone is a writer and performing artist who has recently moved from Montreal to Vancouver. Her first novel, "jacks: a gothic gospel," conveys aspects of the story through the book's design. Her most recent novel is HUSH.
