Thanks for all the kind words re: my DJ duties all day today at Plaza of Nations, Vancouver, for the Portobello West Art + Fashion Fair (Bongo Beat is an official sponsor). Obviously, i played a lot of Bongo Beat Records tracks but for those who asked about two particular obscure songs, here is the info: Ornella Vanoni, "L'Appuntamento" (from the cd, Italian Legends, available on iTunes. Make sure you get THIS version, the original. She has re-recorded it.) Massimo Ranieri, "Comme facette mammeta" (from the cd, 'O surdato 'nnammurato (Live), available on iTunes) I had a great time and I'll be there every last Sunday of the month from 10am til 5pm.
