CANADA'S TOP ALBUMS AND SONGS TORONTO: Chart Magazine's poll of Canadian music writers, musicians and members of the industry to find the top 50 Canadian albums and songs of all time has named Joni Mitchell's Blue as the best album and The Guess Who's American Woman as the best song. Rounding out the top 10 albums were: 2) Neil Young's Harvest; 3) Sloan's Twice Removed; 4) Rheostatics' Whale Music; 5) Rheostatics' Melville; 6) The Lowest Of The Low's Shakespeare - My Butt; 7) Sarah McLachlan's Fumbling Towards Ecstasy; 8) Rush's Moving Pictures; 9) Sloan's One Chord To Another; and 10) The Tragically Hip's Fully Completely. Following American Woman on the top 10 song list were: 2) Sloan's Underwhelmed; 3) Gordon Lightfoot's If You Could Read My Mind; 4) Bryan Adams' Summer Of '69; 5) Gordon Lightfoot's Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald; 6) The Pursuit Of Happiness' I'm An Adult Now; 7) The Tragically Hip's New Orleans Is Sinking; 8) Diodes' Tired Of Waking Up Tired; 9) Demics' New York City; and 10) Neil Young's Cinnamon Girl.
