Bongo Beat Records presents:

The Franco Proietti Morph-Tet & Plunt

Hamilton & Toronto debut

------------------------------------

Former Kobayashi alto sax man Franco Proietti brings his 5-piece ensemble and unique fusion of jazz & hip hop to Hamilton & Toronto in support of his debut CD, Morphology. Already receiving rave reviews for his live show and debut release, these August dates will be his first appearance west of Ottawa since Kobayashi disbanded in late 2006.

"...crazy like a fox experimentation that gives every track a distinct identity"
Bernard Perusse-Montreal Gazette, 4/5 stars

Plunt is a 2 girl-2 guy group formed out of the ashes of several bands including Pest 5000, Strawberry & The Cruddz. Taking their cues from the 70s NYC punk scene and mashing it with the 90s indie-rock scene, they managed to forge their own millennium brand which they affectionately call "cowpunkcockrock". Watch for their Bongo Beat debuy this fall (Note: that's our Kevin Komoda on cow punk guitar!)

"Velvet Underground grooves into 80s Euro-Pop and Alt-Country guitars. It is noisy and sweet with girl group vocals" Alt Kunst Magazin (Germany)
